Description

Ingredients

Filling:

  • 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced (or thawed frozen peaches)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Topping:

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small cubes


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, combine peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and cornstarch. Pour into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
  3. Make the topping: In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add cold butter and blend until crumbly. Sprinkle over the peach mixture.
  4. Bake: Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden and the peaches are bubbling.
