Description

A bold and cheesy mash-up of classic bacon cheeseburger flavors layered into a comforting, hearty lasagna. Perfect for weeknights or casual dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6-8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 9-12 lasagna noodles (no-boil or regular)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic in a bit of bacon grease until soft. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and brown until fully cooked. Stir in diced tomatoes and simmer briefly.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, Parmesan, and 1 cup of mozzarella. Add a bit of garlic, salt, and pepper to taste.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer noodles, beef mixture, cheese blend, and crumbled bacon. Repeat layers, ending with mozzarella on top.
  4. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until top is golden and bubbly.
  5. Let rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Substitute ricotta or mascarpone for cream cheese if desired.
  • Add jalapeños or red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
  • Use BBQ sauce instead of tomatoes for a BBQ cheeseburger version.
  • Freeze before or after baking—wrap well and store for up to 2 months.
