Description

These Parmesan Crusted Potatoes are a delightful side dish featuring tender baby potatoes coated in a crispy Parmesan cheese crust. Perfectly seasoned and baked to golden perfection, these potatoes are a flavorful addition to any meal.

Ingredients

Parmesan Crusted Potatoes:

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes, halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss potatoes: In a large bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Add Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over a parchment-lined baking sheet. Arrange the potatoes cut-side down on top of the cheese in a single layer.
  4. Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until the cheese is golden and crispy, and the potatoes are fork-tender.
  5. Cool and serve: Let cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add smoked paprika or chili flakes to the seasoning mix.
  • Yukon Gold potatoes can be used as an alternative.
