Ingredients
Dough:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 large egg
For Brushing:
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Prepare Dough: Combine 2 cups flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Warm milk, water, and butter. Mix wet ingredients into dry. Add egg and remaining flour gradually.
- Knead and Rise: Knead dough until smooth. Let rise until doubled in size.
- Shape Rolls: Roll out dough, cut into rectangles, fold, and place in baking dish. Let rise again.
- Bake: Preheat oven. Brush rolls with melted butter. Bake until golden brown.
