- 1 pound breakfast sausage (cooked and crumbled)
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 1 red bell pepper (diced)
- 1 green bell pepper (diced)
- 3 cups frozen hash browns (shredded or diced)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Spray the slow cooker: Spray the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
- Layer ingredients: Layer half of the hash browns, sausage, peppers, onions, and cheese in the slow cooker. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Whisk egg mixture: In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over layers in slow cooker.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours until set and slightly golden on top.
- Rest and serve: Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
