Description

These Oven Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey are a delightful blend of creamy feta and cream cheese wrapped in crispy phyllo dough, drizzled with a sweet and spicy chili-infused honey. Perfect for a party appetizer or a tasty snack!


Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 6 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For Assembly:

  • 8 sheets phyllo dough, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)

For the Chili Honey:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 12 teaspoons chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine crumbled feta, cream cheese, dill or parsley, and black pepper.

  3. Brush one sheet of phyllo dough with oil or butter. Place another sheet on top and brush again.
  4. Spoon cheese mixture along one edge, fold in the sides, and roll up tightly. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Repeat with remaining dough and filling to make 4 rolls. Brush tops with oil or butter.
  6. Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden and crisp.
  7. Warm honey in a saucepan, stir in chili flakes and vinegar. Drizzle over rolls before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, use hot honey or double the chili flakes.
  • Serve as an appetizer or pair with a fresh salad for a light lunch.
