These Oven Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey are a delightful blend of creamy feta and cream cheese wrapped in crispy phyllo dough, drizzled with a sweet and spicy chili-infused honey. Perfect for a party appetizer or a tasty snack!
Ingredients
For the Filling:
- 6 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For Assembly:
- 8 sheets phyllo dough, thawed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)
For the Chili Honey:
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1–2 teaspoons chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Brush one sheet of phyllo dough with oil or butter. Place another sheet on top and brush again.
- Spoon cheese mixture along one edge, fold in the sides, and roll up tightly. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Repeat with remaining dough and filling to make 4 rolls. Brush tops with oil or butter.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Warm honey in a saucepan, stir in chili flakes and vinegar. Drizzle over rolls before serving.
In a bowl, combine crumbled feta, cream cheese, dill or parsley, and black pepper.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, use hot honey or double the chili flakes.
