Ingredients
Cake:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- ¾ cup orange juice
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- Zest of 1 orange
For the glaze:
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan generously.
- Prepare the batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, orange juice, oil, eggs, and orange zest. Beat until smooth.
- Bake the cake: Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 40–45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Make the glaze: In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar, orange juice, and vanilla. Heat until smooth.
- Glaze the cake: Poke holes in the cake, then pour the warm glaze over it. Let it sit to absorb the glaze before turning it out to cool.
