Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons orange zest (from about 2 oranges)
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice

- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice until well combined.
- Combine Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just incorporated. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Bake: Scoop the dough into rounded tablespoons and place 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 9–11 minutes or until the edges are just golden.
- Cool and Serve: Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
