Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons orange zest (from about 2 oranges)
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Prepare dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice until smooth.
- Combine and bake: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in white chocolate chips. Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls on baking sheets. Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on a wire rack.
