Ingredients
Steak:
- 12 oz sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Other Ingredients:
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz penne or rigatoni pasta, uncooked
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the Steak: Season the sliced steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large pot, sear the steak until browned, then set aside.
- Sauté Vegetables: In the same pot, sauté onion and bell pepper until softened. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add Ingredients: Pour in beef broth, milk, uncooked pasta, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes.
- Combine and Garnish: Return steak to the pot, add Parmesan cheese, simmer until heated through. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
