Ingredients
Chicken:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce (optional)
Other Ingredients:
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine, broken in half
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup snap peas or broccoli florets
- 2 green onions, sliced
- sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a pot, cook chicken until browned.
- Prepare Sauce: Add garlic, honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and broth. Bring to a boil.
- Cook Noodles: Add noodles, simmer until tender.
- Add Vegetables: Stir in carrots and snap peas.
- Thicken Sauce: Optionally add cornstarch slurry.
- Finish: Remove from heat, add green onions, garnish with sesame seeds.
