Description

A comforting and flavorful one-pot meal featuring tender beef, creamy cheddar cheese, and zesty ranch seasoning combined with pasta for a satisfying dinner option.

Ingredients

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Liquid and Seasonings:

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet ranch seasoning mix

Pasta and Cheese:

  • 8 ounces uncooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook Ground Beef: Heat olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat. Brown ground beef, breaking it up, for about 6-7 minutes.
  2. Add Aromatics: Add diced onion and garlic, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until softened.
  3. Incorporate Ingredients: Stir in beef broth, milk, ranch seasoning, and uncooked pasta. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Finish the Dish: Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with black pepper and garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Opt for ground turkey or add spinach for variations.
  • Sharp cheddar enhances flavor, but any cheese can be used.
