Description

Indulge in the creamy goodness of One Pan Creamy Boursin Chicken, a delectable dish that combines tender chicken breasts with a rich Boursin cheese sauce. This easy stovetop recipe is perfect for a flavorful weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste

Sauce:

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package (5.2 ounces) Boursin cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Additional:

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Sear Chicken: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet. Sear chicken until golden brown, about 4–5 minutes per side. Set aside.
  3. Make Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic. Add chicken broth, Boursin cheese, and heavy cream. Simmer until smooth.
  4. Simmer Chicken: Return chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 10–12 minutes until cooked through and sauce thickens.
  5. Add Spinach: Stir in baby spinach until wilted. Garnish with parsley and serve hot over preferred base.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of cream.
  • This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables or a side salad.
