These No-Fuss Sticky Buns are a quick and easy way to enjoy delicious, gooey treats for breakfast or brunch. Made with simple ingredients like biscuit dough, pecans, and a sweet sticky topping, these buns are sure to become a family favorite.
Ingredients
Biscuit Dough:
- 1 (16 oz) package refrigerated biscuit dough (8 large biscuits)
Sticky Topping:
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- â…“ cup brown sugar, packed
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp corn syrup or maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round baking dish or cake pan.
- Prepare the Sticky Topping: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until melted and smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
- Assemble the Buns: Pour the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the top. Separate the biscuit dough and arrange the biscuits over the pecan mixture, pressing them gently to fit.
- Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and cooked through.
- Finish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let sit for 2–3 minutes, then carefully invert the pan onto a serving plate so the sticky topping is on top. Serve warm.
Notes
- For a sweeter twist, add a handful of raisins or use cinnamon roll dough instead of biscuit dough.
- These are best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the microwave for 10–15 seconds.
