Description
A bold and cheesy wrap packed with seasoned beef, creamy nacho cheese, and crunchy Doritos — perfect for a quick, satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilis)
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos
- 4 large flour tortilla wraps
- 1 cup shredded lettuce (for serving)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
- Add diced onions and green peppers. Sauté for about 4 minutes, until slightly softened.
- Stir in taco seasoning and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix nacho cheese sauce and Rotel until smooth.
- Lay tortillas on a flat surface. Spread a line of cheese-Rotel mixture down the center. Add beef mixture, a dollop of sour cream, and crushed Doritos.
- Fold in sides and roll up tightly. Toast each wrap in a skillet until golden and crispy on both sides, 2–3 minutes per side.
- Serve with shredded lettuce and optional toppings like salsa or guacamole.
Notes
- Warm tortillas before filling to prevent cracking.
- Use a dab of butter in the skillet for extra flavor and golden color.
- Don’t overfill the wraps for easier rolling and toasting.
- Customize with hot sauce, jalapeños, or alternative proteins like ground turkey or beans.
