Ingredients
Brownie Batter:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and chocolate: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and chopped chocolate over low heat until smooth.
- Combine ingredients: Remove from heat, whisk in espresso powder and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Add cocoa powder, flour, and salt; mix until combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
