A refreshing and invigorating twist on traditional iced coffee, the Mint Mojito Iced Coffee combines the coolness of mint with the rich flavors of coffee for a perfect summer pick-me-up.
Ingredients
Coffee:
- 1 cup freshly brewed strong coffee (cooled)
Mint Syrup:
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons simple syrup (or to taste)
Other:
- 1/2 cup milk or half-and-half
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Mint sprig (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Muddle Mint: In a tall glass, muddle the fresh mint leaves with the simple syrup to release their flavor.
- Prepare Drink: Fill the glass with ice cubes. Pour the cooled coffee over the ice, then add the milk or half-and-half. Stir well to combine.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a mint sprig if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, use almond or oat milk.
- You can also make a big batch of mint syrup in advance for quick prep.
- Adjust sweetness and mint intensity to taste.
