Ingredients

For the Meat Sauce:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Cheese Filling:

  • 1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 large egg

Additional Ingredients:

  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meat Sauce: Brown the ground beef, Italian sausage, and onion in a skillet. Add garlic, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer.
  2. Make the Cheese Filling: Combine ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream, and egg until smooth.
