Description

Indulge in the ultimate chocolate lover’s treat with these Meltaway Brownie Cookies. These cookies are rich, fudgy, and irresistibly soft, with a gooey center that will leave you craving for more. Perfect for any sweet tooth!

Ingredients

Cookie Dough:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (optional mix-in)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Melt Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter and semisweet chocolate chips together until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Slowly add the melted chocolate mixture, then fold in the dry ingredients.
  4. Add Mix-Ins: Stir in mini chocolate chips or chopped chocolate if using. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Bake: Scoop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets and bake for 9–11 minutes until shiny and crackled on top. Cool before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For an extra gooey center, slightly underbake and let the cookies set as they cool.
  • These cookies are rich and soft, just like the center of a brownie.
