Description
Tender chicken breasts smothered in creamy Caesar dressing and Parmesan cheese, baked to perfection with savory herbs. A fuss-free, flavorful dinner ready in about 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Caesar dressing (high-quality or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish large enough to hold the chicken in a single layer.
- Place chicken breasts flat in the prepared dish. If thick, pound or butterfly to even thickness.
- In a bowl, mix Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken, spreading to coat each piece evenly.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden top—watch closely to avoid burning.
- Let chicken rest a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use boneless, skinless chicken thighs for a juicier alternative.
- Add crushed croutons or breadcrumbs before baking for a crunchy topping.
- Include a pinch of red pepper flakes or hot sauce to spice things up.
- Mix in mozzarella or provolone for extra cheesiness.
- Serve with cauliflower rice or veggies for a low-carb option.
