Description

These Marmalade Meatballs are a sweet and tangy appetizer or main dish featuring juicy meatballs coated in a flavorful orange marmalade glaze. Perfect for parties or a simple weeknight meal!

Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen fully cooked meatballs
  • 1 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Garnish:

  • Sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a large saucepan or slow cooker, combine the orange marmalade, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Stir until well blended.
  2. Coat the Meatballs: Add the frozen meatballs to the sauce and stir to coat them evenly.
  3. Cook: If using stovetop, cook covered over medium heat for 20–25 minutes, or if using a slow cooker, cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice for a main dish.

Notes

  • You can substitute grape jelly or apricot preserves for the marmalade for a different flavor.
  • For homemade meatballs, fully cook them before adding to the sauce.
