Description

A comfort food mashup featuring creamy mac and cheese, juicy beef, and smoky bacon rolled in crispy dough — perfect for a satisfying snack or meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and finely chopped
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk (preferably whole milk)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 sheet store-bought pizza dough or crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg (optional, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni to al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt cream cheese with milk over low heat. Stir in cheddar until smooth, then mix in macaroni. Set aside to cool.
  3. Cook ground beef with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain fat.
  4. Cook bacon until crispy, chop, and mix into the beef.
  5. Combine mac and cheese with beef and bacon mixture. Chill in fridge for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Roll out dough and cut into palm-sized rectangles. Add filling, roll tightly, and seal seams.
  7. Place seam-side down on parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with egg wash if using.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes until golden and crisp.
  9. Let cool a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill to avoid spillage.
  • Cool filling before rolling for easier handling.
  • Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and crisp the bottom.
  • Freeze unbaked rolls for later; bake from frozen with extra time.
