Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and finely chopped
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup milk (preferably whole milk)
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 sheet store-bought pizza dough or crescent roll dough
- 1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Cook elbow macaroni to al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt cream cheese with milk over low heat. Stir in cheddar until smooth, then mix in macaroni. Set aside to cool.
- Cook ground beef with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain fat.
- Cook bacon until crispy, chop, and mix into the beef.
- Combine mac and cheese with beef and bacon mixture. Chill in fridge for 10–15 minutes.
- Roll out dough and cut into palm-sized rectangles. Add filling, roll tightly, and seal seams.
- Place seam-side down on parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with egg wash if using.
- Bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Let cool a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Don’t overfill to avoid spillage.
- Cool filling before rolling for easier handling.
- Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and crisp the bottom.
- Freeze unbaked rolls for later; bake from frozen with extra time.
