Description

Crispy golden fries topped with seasoned beef, melty cheese, and your favorite fixings—perfect for a quick, hearty meal or party snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen French fries (any cut)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bake or air-fry the frozen French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with chopped onions and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Spread cooked fries on a baking sheet or oven-safe platter. Top with seasoned beef and shredded cheese.
  5. Broil for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with green onions, sour cream, jalapeños, or other desired toppings. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Layer some cheese under the beef for extra gooeyness.
  • Use pepper jack cheese for a spicy twist.
  • Add black beans and corn for a Tex-Mex variation.
