Description

These juicy, golden chicken bites are bursting with garlic, herbs, and lemon flavor, ready in just 20 minutes for the perfect quick dinner or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix dried oregano, basil, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Toss chicken pieces in this mixture until evenly coated.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt half of the butter. Add chicken in a single layer and cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and nearly cooked through.
  3. Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Drizzle lemon juice over the chicken and stir to coat evenly with the sauce.
  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately while hot and aromatic.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes or cayenne for a spicy kick.
  • Substitute butter with olive oil for a dairy-free version.
  • Fresh parsley can be swapped with dill or cilantro.
  • Add quick-cooking vegetables like zucchini or spinach with the garlic.
