Description

A hearty, flavor-packed sandwich stacked with juicy turkey, creamy mashed potatoes, tangy cranberry sauce, and savory stuffing—an unforgettable way to relive the magic of Thanksgiving in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 12 slices cooked turkey (white and/or dark meat)
  • 2 slices hearty bread (sourdough, ciabatta, or rustic roll)
  • 1/4 cup stuffing (dressing)
  • 2 tbsp cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup mashed potatoes
  • 2 tbsp turkey gravy, warmed
  • Optional: roasted vegetables, crispy onions, fresh greens (arugula or spinach)
  • Optional: butter (for toasting)

Instructions

  1. Warm the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy gently on the stovetop or in the microwave until hot but not overcooked.
  2. Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp. Optionally, spread with butter before toasting for extra flavor.
  3. Spread mashed potatoes on the bottom slice of bread. Layer on turkey, stuffing, a spoonful of cranberry sauce, and a drizzle of warm gravy.
  4. Add optional extras like roasted vegetables or greens.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, press gently, and slice in half. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Garnish with chopped herbs (parsley, chives, thyme) or a dash of black pepper for a fresh finish.
  • Serve open-faced or as mini sliders for entertaining.
  • Customize with mustard, mayo, or pickled onions for added zing.
