- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (optional for thickening)
Additional Ingredients:
- 3 cups cooked white rice
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
- 2 green onions (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat sesame oil. Add ground beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Prepare the Sauce: Stir in garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, red pepper flakes, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to blend flavors.
