Ingredients
Bread Rolls:
- 4 small round bread rolls (soft dinner rolls or brioche)
Cream Cheese Filling:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
Garlic Butter Mixture:
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare cream cheese filling: Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and heavy cream until smooth and pipeable.
- Prepare garlic butter mixture: In a bowl, whisk together egg, melted butter, milk, mayonnaise, honey, garlic, parsley, and salt.
- Prepare bread rolls: Slice each roll into wedges without cutting through the base. Fill with cream cheese mixture.
- Coat rolls: Dip filled rolls in garlic butter mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake: Place rolls on baking sheet, spoon extra garlic butter on top, and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.
