Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Keto Garlic Rolls that are low-carb and packed with flavor. These soft, buttery almond flour rolls infused with garlic and cheese are perfect for a keto-friendly snack or side dish.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure even baking.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, ground flaxseed, parmesan cheese, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly blended.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients: Add the egg, shredded mozzarella, and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Stir thoroughly until a cohesive dough forms that is easy to handle.
  4. Shape Rolls: Using your hands, divide and shape the dough into small rolls. Arrange them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake Rolls: Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and feel firm to the touch, indicating they are fully cooked.
  6. Prepare Garlic Butter: While the rolls bake, heat a small skillet over medium heat and sauté minced garlic in butter for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  7. Brush Rolls: After removing the rolls from the oven, immediately brush the tops generously with the warm garlic butter mixture for enhanced flavor.

Notes

  • Do not overbake the rolls to keep them soft inside.
  • You can substitute mozzarella with another shredded cheese if preferred.
  • For extra garlic flavor, add a bit more garlic powder to the dough mixture.
  • Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
  • Reheat gently in the oven before serving for the best texture.
