  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes. Add egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
