Description

These Jalapeno Popper Crescent Rolls are a delicious appetizer featuring a spicy kick from fresh jalapeños, savory bacon, and creamy cheeses, all wrapped in a flaky crescent roll dough. Perfect for parties or game day gatherings!

Ingredients

Crescent Roll Dough:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Jalapeno Popper Filling:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp chopped green onions (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Assemble the rolls: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place a spoonful of filling at the wide end of each triangle and roll up tightly.
  4. Bake: Arrange the rolls on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with green onions if desired.

Notes

  • You can use pickled jalapeños for a milder taste.
  • For extra crispiness, brush the tops with melted butter before baking.
