Description

Ingredients

Eggs:

4 large eggs (room temperature)

Sugar:

2 cups granulated sugar

Flour:

2 cups all-purpose flour

Baking Powder:

2 teaspoons

Salt:

1/2 teaspoon

Milk:

1 cup whole milk

Butter:

1/2 cup unsalted butter

Vanilla Extract:

1 teaspoon


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Beat Eggs and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat the eggs until thick and lemon-colored. Gradually add sugar and beat until well blended.
  3. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the egg mixture.
  4. Heat Milk and Butter: In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until melted. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla.
  5. Combine Mixtures: Slowly pour hot milk mixture into batter, stirring constantly. Pour into baking dish.
