Description

These Honey Lemon Pepper Wings are a delightful combination of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors. Crispy baked chicken wings are coated in a sticky honey lemon pepper glaze that will have your taste buds singing. Perfect for game day or any gathering!

Ingredients

For the wings:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings (split and tips removed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

For the glaze:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
  2. Prepare the wings: Pat the wings dry with paper towels, then toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Arrange in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  3. Make the glaze: In a small saucepan, combine honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, cracked black pepper, and butter. Heat over medium-low until melted and slightly bubbling.
  4. Coat the wings: Once the wings are done, transfer to a large bowl and toss immediately with the warm honey lemon pepper glaze.
  5. Serve: Serve hot with extra lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

  • For extra-crispy wings, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
  • You can also air fry the wings at 400°F for 22–25 minutes.
  • Adjust the pepper level to taste for more or less heat.
