Description

Honey BBQ Crockpot Meatballs are tender meatballs slow‑cooked in a sweet and tangy honey‑BBQ glaze—effortless comfort food perfect for parties, family dinners, or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (about 2 lb) frozen meatballs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  2. Place frozen meatballs in the crockpot in an even layer.
  3. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and gently stir to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, until meatballs are hot and sauce has thickened.
  5. Stir gently before serving to ensure even coating.
  6. Serve hot directly from the crockpot or transfer to a platter with extra sauce on the side.

Notes

  • Garnish with sliced green onions, chopped parsley, or sesame seeds for a pop of color and texture.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or coleslaw; or use toothpicks for game‑day appetizers.
  • Skewer meatballs on cocktail sticks for easy grab‑and‑go party bites.
  • Store leftovers (including sauce) in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze in freezer‑safe containers for 2–3 months. Thaw before reheating.
  • Reheat gently on the stovetop or microwave with a splash of water or extra BBQ sauce to revive the glaze.
