Ingredients
Ground Beef Filling:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 3/4 cup water
Assembly:
- 6 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
- 6 tostada shells
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce (warm)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
- cooking spray or oil for skillet
Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- Assemble the Crunchwrap: Place a flour tortilla on a flat surface. Layer beef, cheese sauce, and a tostada shell in the center. Add sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. Fold the edges of the tortilla to form a hexagon shape, enclosing the filling. Patch the center if needed.
- Cook the Crunchwrap: Place the wrap seam-side down on a heated skillet sprayed with oil. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
