Ingredients
Wet Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil or butter
Dry Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup almond flour or whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, mash bananas and mix in maple syrup, egg, vanilla, and melted oil.
- Add dry ingredients: Stir in oats, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and flour until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Bake: Pour mixture into pan, spread evenly, and bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool and slice: Let cool for 10 minutes, then slice into bars before serving.
