Description

These Hawaiian Roll Cheeseburger Sliders are the perfect combination of sweet and savory, with juicy beef, melted cheese, and tangy pickles sandwiched between soft Hawaiian rolls. A crowd-pleasing party favorite that’s easy to make and even easier to enjoy!

Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound ground beef

Seasonings:

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Additional Ingredients:

  • 6 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them, creating a top and bottom slab. Place the bottom half in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Cook Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Assemble Sliders: Spread the cooked beef over the bottom rolls. Layer cheese slices, then add diced pickles.
  5. Make Sauce: Mix ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. Spread the sauce over the inside of the top rolls before placing them on top of the sliders.
  6. Bake: Brush the tops with melted butter, sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired, cover with foil, and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Serve: Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can customize these sliders with caramelized onions, bacon, or jalapeños.
  • Prepare ahead and bake before serving for convenience.
