Description

Soft, sweet Hawaiian rolls layered with smoky ham, gooey Swiss cheese, and brushed with a savory, buttery glaze—perfect for parties, dinner, or game day.

Ingredients

  • 12‑count Hawaiian rolls (un-sliced)
  • 1216 slices deli ham (smoked or honey ham)
  • 68 slices Swiss cheese (or Provolone/Cheddar), halved
  • 4 tbsp salted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or chives

Instructions

  1. **Prep Rolls:** Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Slice the rolls horizontally as a whole unit and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  2. **Layer:** Arrange ham over the bottom roll layer, then top with cheese. Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
  3. **Make Glaze:** In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds. Whisk well.
  4. **Brush & Bake:** Brush the butter mixture all over the tops of the rolls. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
  5. **Serve:** Slice along roll lines into 12 sliders. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute potato rolls, dinner rolls, or brioche if desired.
  • Cheese options: Swiss, provolone, cheddar, or Monterey Jack.
  • Make ahead: assemble sliders (without glaze), refrigerate, then add glaze and bake when ready.
  • Use leftover ham from holidays for a flavorful shortcut.
