Description

These Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies are a delightful treat for the spooky season, combining classic chocolate chip cookie goodness with festive Halloween colors and decorations.


Ingredients

Dough:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix-Ins:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup Halloween-colored M&M’s or candy-coated chocolates
  • 1/4 cup festive sprinkles (optional)
  • Candy eyeballs for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking sheets: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla: Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Combine wet and dry mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
