Ripe Avocados:
- 3 ripe avocados
Lime Juice:
- 1 lime, juiced
Red Onion:
- 1/2 small red onion, finely diced
Cilantro:
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Tomato:
- 1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
Garlic:
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Jalapeño:
- 1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced
Salt:
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Mash the Avocados: Mash the avocados with a fork until slightly chunky.
- Add Ingredients: Stir in the lime juice, red onion, cilantro, tomato, garlic, jalapeño, and salt.
- Combine Well: Mix everything together until well combined.
- Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed.
- Serve: Serve the guacamole immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave the jalapeño seeds in.
- To prevent browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole when storing.
