Description

A sweet, tangy, and savory grilled chicken dish featuring a golden honey mustard glaze. Juicy and full of flavor, this quick and easy recipe is perfect for summer dinners or any night you want something delicious off the grill.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Reserve 2 tablespoons for basting or serving.
  2. Place chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour in the marinade. Coat well and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 8 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grates lightly.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). During the last 2 minutes, brush with reserved sauce for a glossy finish.
  5. Transfer to a plate, let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with herbs and serve.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness if preferred.
  • Serve with grilled veggies, salads, or your favorite sides.
  • Leftover grilled chicken is great for sandwiches and wraps.
