Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp whole grain mustard
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Reserve 2 tablespoons for basting or serving.
- Place chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour in the marinade. Coat well and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 8 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grates lightly.
- Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). During the last 2 minutes, brush with reserved sauce for a glossy finish.
- Transfer to a plate, let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with herbs and serve.
Notes
- Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness if preferred.
