Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
- 1 ½ pounds large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- juice of ½ lemon
Additional:
- wooden or metal skewers
- chopped parsley and lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and lemon juice.
- Skewer the Shrimp: Thread shrimp onto skewers, about 4–5 shrimp per skewer.
- Grill the Shrimp: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Cook skewers for 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp are pink and slightly charred.
- Serve: Remove from grill, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- You can use pre-cooked shrimp, but reduce grill time to 1–2 minutes per side.
- Serve with rice, grilled veggies, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
