Description

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day or any festive occasion with these vibrant and fun Green Jello Shots. Made with lime or green apple-flavored gelatin and non-alcoholic juice, these easy-to-make treats are perfect for parties. Topped with whipped cream, green sprinkles, and mini shamrock candies, they add a decorative and delicious touch to your celebrations.

Ingredients

Jello Mixture

  • 1 box (3 ounces) lime or green apple gelatin (or any green-flavored gelatin)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup cold water
  • ½ cup non-alcoholic apple juice or another fruit juice
  • Green food coloring (optional)

Toppings

  • Whipped cream
  • Green sprinkles or edible glitter
  • Mini shamrock-shaped candies

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Jello Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the gelatin powder with boiling water. Stir thoroughly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Add the cold water and non-alcoholic fruit juice, mixing well to combine. If desired, add green food coloring to achieve a more vibrant shade of green.
  2. Pour into Shot Glasses: Arrange shot glasses or small cups on a baking sheet for stability. Carefully pour the jello mixture into each glass, filling them about three-quarters full to allow room for toppings.
  3. Chill and Set: Place the filled glasses in the refrigerator and chill for 2 to 4 hours or until the gelatin is fully set and firm to the touch.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Once the jello shots have set, remove them from the fridge. Top each shot with a dollop of whipped cream, then sprinkle with green sprinkles or edible glitter, and finish by placing mini shamrock-shaped candies on top for a festive presentation.

Notes

  • For a more intense green color, use green food coloring sparingly.
  • You can substitute the non-alcoholic apple juice with any other fruit juice of your preference.
  • These jello shots are non-alcoholic and suitable for all ages.
  • Refrigeration time may vary depending on your fridge; check after 2 hours to avoid over-setting.
  • Use sturdy shot glasses or small cups to prevent spills when serving.
