Description

These Greek Yogurt Brownies are rich, fudgy, and chocolate-packed with a lighter twist, making them a guilt-free indulgence you’ll crave again and again.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus more for topping, optional)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, spraying lightly with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth and glossy.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan and sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 22–26 minutes until edges are set and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs. Cool for 30 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Use whole-milk Greek yogurt for best fudgy results.
  • Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for 1 week.
  • Freeze individually wrapped brownies for up to 2 months.
  • Reheat in microwave for 10–15 seconds to revive gooey texture.
  • Customize with nuts, dried fruits, or a swirl of nut butter.
