These Greek Yogurt Brownies are rich, fudgy, and chocolate-packed with a lighter twist, making them a guilt-free indulgence you’ll crave again and again.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus more for topping, optional)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, spraying lightly with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth and glossy.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan and sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Bake for 22–26 minutes until edges are set and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs. Cool for 30 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use whole-milk Greek yogurt for best fudgy results.
- Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for 1 week.
- Freeze individually wrapped brownies for up to 2 months.
- Reheat in microwave for 10–15 seconds to revive gooey texture.
