Ingredients

Bread Cubes:

  • 1 loaf (14–16 oz) day-old white bread, cubed

Vegetable Mixture:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 large onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 celery stalks (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

Seasonings:

  • 2 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Additional:

  • 22 1/2 cups chicken or turkey broth
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
