  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (cold and cubed)

  • 3/4 cup buttermilk (plus extra for brushing)


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add Butter: Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add Cheese and Herbs: Stir in goat’s cheese, green onions, and dill.
  5. Form Dough: Gradually add buttermilk, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  6. Shape Scones: Turn out dough, pat into a round, and cut into wedges or rounds.
