  • 2 large eggs, beaten

For the Orange Sauce:

  • ½ cup orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
  • ¼ cup gluten-free soy sauce (or tamari)
  • â…“ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for slurry)
  • sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken pieces dry and coat them evenly with cornstarch. Dip each piece in beaten eggs.
  2. Cook the Chicken: In a skillet, heat olive oil and sesame oil. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Make the Orange Sauce: In the same skillet, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, orange zest, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Thicken with cornstarch slurry.
