Description

Learn how to make a delicious and creamy garlic sauce that’s perfect for drizzling over pizza or using as a dip. This easy-to-follow recipe yields a flavorful sauce with just the right balance of garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Add Seasonings: Stir in the garlic powder and salt.
  4. Simmer Cream: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Finish Sauce: Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth. Add fresh parsley if desired.
  6. Serve: Use warm as a dip or drizzle over pizza crust.

Notes

  • For a thinner sauce, add a splash of milk.
  • For a stronger garlic flavor, roast the garlic beforehand.
  • This sauce also works great as a dip for breadsticks.
