Description

Indulge in the rich and creamy goodness of this easy one-pot Garlic Parmesan Pasta. With simple ingredients and a quick stovetop method, you’ll have a flavorful vegetarian main course ready in no time.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
  • 8 ounces uncooked fettuccine or linguine
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil: In a large skillet or pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Sauté garlic: Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add liquids: Pour in chicken broth and milk, bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add pasta and seasonings: Add pasta, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  5. Simmer: Let it simmer uncovered for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Finish: Stir in Parmesan cheese and butter until creamy. Remove from heat and let rest before serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
  • Vegetable broth can be used for a vegetarian option.
  • If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of warm milk to adjust consistency.
