Ingredients
Potatoes:
- 4 medium russet potatoes
Garlic Butter Mixture:
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Additional Toppings:
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the potatoes: Wash and scrub the potatoes. Slice thinly across the width, stopping just before cutting all the way through.
- Make the garlic butter mixture: Mix olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme in a small bowl.
- Coat the potatoes: Brush the garlic butter mixture over the potatoes, ensuring it gets between the slices. Bake for 45–50 minutes.
- Add toppings: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the potatoes and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until crispy.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
