Description

Golden, buttery biscuit bombs filled with juicy seasoned beef and melty cheddar, topped with garlic butter and parmesan cheese—perfect for weeknights or party snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 8 cheddar cheese cubes
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onion, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt until fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside to cool.
  3. Flatten each biscuit dough round using your fingers or a rolling pin.
  4. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and a cube of cheddar cheese in the center of each dough round.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal tightly. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush over each dough ball.
  7. Sprinkle the tops with grated Parmesan and parsley if using.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Optional: brush again with garlic butter immediately after baking for extra flavor.

Notes

  • To make vegetarian, substitute beef with seasoned mushrooms or plant-based ground meat.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like mozzarella, pepper jack, or gouda.
  • Add bacon bits or jalapeños for variation.
